Salt Cay is a tranquil and charming island that transports you back in time. This small cay is a living museum and heritage site of the salt industry. Located a scant 7 miles southwest of Grand Turk, Salt Cay is accessible by boat and small aircraft.

This tranquil island offers quiet bays with excellent beaches for swimming. From January through until March each year, it is possible to watch whales as they pass by on their way to the breeding grounds of the Mouchoir banks.

There are a number of small hotels available on Salt Cay such as the Windmills plantation and Tradewinds guest suites located south of Deane’s dock. It is rumored that an exclusive resort and golf course are in the pipeline to be developed on Salt Cay.
