With the rapid growth of the tourism sector in recent years the need for medical services facilitating the country has indeed seen significant improvement.
The TCI government is currently building two state-of-the-art hospitals on Providenciales and Grand Turk which will meet the needs of the expanding infrastructure.
In the meantime the medical services currently on offer are certainly more than capable of dealing with any eventuality.
We currently have 4 private medical clinics across Providenciales, the largest of which is based on Leeward Highway. Associated Medical practices have a CAT scanner and mammography machine that is linked to the Bahamas via the internet. A doctor is always available on a rotational call basis.
